Sunset

Kids love the beach. After our full day on Anacapa Island, they still wanted to run in the waves.

Anacapa Island

Today we took a boat out to the closest of the Channel Island, Anacapa. I was too busy trying to keep the kiddos from going overboard to take photos of the trip, but seeing a pod of dolphins was a highlight. Brennan enjoyed trying to be as talk as the lighthouse. Weston enjoyed the yellow flowers and the view from Inspiration Point was amazing.

Cookies

Making cookies is still a favorite activity. One day we make the dough, the next they get to roll it, cut it, and decorate with sprinkles. We still use the cutters my mom and I used when I was a kid.

Flower cake

Brennan made me a flower 'cake' for Valentines Day. Such a sweet boy heart.

The kids are ecstatic to be out of the car and running on the beach.
