Sweaters

Here are the kids in their Christmas sweaters.

Ohio

After a 13 hour journey from Rhode Island, we made it to Ohio. This morning it was snowing lightly so we went walking at High Banks.

After freezing the kids outside, we went to see the movie Frozen. What fun, our first family movie on a theater! Other than eating an embarrassing amount of snacks it was lovely.

Making Christmas trees

We painted, then put shimmer glue, added gems, then tied on beads. Voila! Beautiful decorations.

Pinecone bird feeders

On this very cold afternoon, Kelton and Weston made bird feeders. We used the giant sugar pine cones we collected at the cabin in the fall. Then we coated the cones with peanut butter and sprinkled seeds on them. Delicious!

Thrill of a lifetime

Guess who is driving the truck? Yup! He's beyond thrilled. He's ready to drive us around town after a couple of spins in the desert.

Inscription Canyon

We visited Inscription Canyon. Thousands of petroglyphs line the rocky walls. I took photos while Brennan and Weston drew pictures of the fascinating designs, patterns and images.
