Camp Augusta

After a lovely week at our cabin, we headed to Camp Augusta for the weekend with our homeschooling group. What an awesome experience. We all loved the enormous range of activities.

The kids enjoyed swinging on a variety of rope swings including one more than 25 feet off the ground (they were harnessed in for that one). We did many crafts including black smithing, wood lathe working, tie dye, silk painting, herbal medicine, primitive fire making and weaving dream catchers. We did many active things including a high ropes course, enormous swing, ninja training and canoeing. We also had world drumming lessons and a ukulele lesson. Brennan even performed on his uke at the talent show. We were happily exhausted by Sunday afternoon.
